Reclaiming Your Weekend: Road Trip

Hi friends,

When do you feel the most joyful? Confident? Free? I talk a lot about the importance of a meditation practice, but sometimes we find clarity in the most unexpected places. For me, getting out on the open road on my Harley helps to clear my head and center myself. With almost a decade of riding under my belt, it's difficult to remember a time when I wasn't ready to hop on a 718-pound motorcycle and take life by the handlebars. But of course, it wasn't always like that.

When I first started riding I was scared to death! My inner critic was in high gear, telling me over and over again that riding was a man's sport, and that I couldn't possibly feel safe in control of my own motorcycle. But I pressed on, and after playing the role of the back seat driver on my husband's Harley for two years, I got my license and my own bike. I named her SweetOne (personalized plates and all) and haven't looked back since. Today, riding both empowers and inspires me.

This week, take a moment to remember the last time you felt confident and strong. What were you doing? Who were you with? When we own our power and invest in our authentic selves we're able to navigate any detour the universe presents us with.

Need a little boost to get back on the road? I can help. Schedule a free 30-minute call with me.

Where do you feel most authentically yourself? How are you taking control of your journey? I want to hear about it! Hit reply to respond and I'll see you back here next Sunday.
