Mindful Moments to Guide Your Week

As the world around us begins to open back up, so does a broad spectrum of possibilities. After a year filled with unfathomable challenges for so many of us, feelings of exhaustion and apprehension are normal and expected. One way to cope? Gratitude.

While vocalizing what we’re thankful for isn’t enough to process all of the stress and issues compounded by the pandemic, this simple exercise can help you pay attention to the positive while illuminating what needs changing.

Exercise: The 5 Minute Gratitude Practice

Take five minutes upon waking, before you go to sleep, or whenever you find a moment during the day to write down five things you are genuinely grateful for. Out of paper? Away from your phone? Go way back to kindergarten with a DIY Thanksgiving hand turkey. Simply use the fingers of one hand to count off five things you can be grateful for right now.

I’d love to know what you’re grateful for this week. Hit reply to share!
