When 40% of the workforce wants to quit their jobs...
Hi friends,
Last week I had the pleasure of presenting to a group of HR professionals. We talked about identifying and preventing burnout, and the real data behind how overworked and stressed Americans are in the workplace. The numbers are staggering.

There's more. A 2020 Gallup Survey reported that when asked how often participants experienced burnout 48% answered sometimes and 21% answered always. Sound familiar?
When I begin work with a client who is struggling with symptoms of burnout, I often ask them to start with the practice below. Identifying and naming our stressors (as well as the elements that nurture and support us!) is the first step towards meaningful recovery.
Pause for a few moments each day and ask yourself these questions. Take brief notes to record your answers. Try this practice for two weeks and see what patterns begin to emerge.
