A Peaceful Way of Being
I've made a conscious decision to get back into my morning meditation practice and not let anything else sneak into my day before this sacred and top-priority morning time. I love it when the house is quiet, I'm the only one awake with a cup of coffee and the cats and my meditation space. This is the main time of day in which I can honestly say I truly feel what Sam is referring to in this question.
It's such a peaceful way of being.
It's when I'm not in my meditation practice that I need to really try to practice this way of being. Feeling like nothing is missing for me is about having gratitude for what is, focusing on the good, and not getting caught up in all the things I don't have or feel like I'm not good enough at. It's about being present in this very moment for what it is: just being in it, not doing it.
