Have you ever experienced transformation?

Transformation is often an overused word. However, if you’ve ever experienced it…Well, it’s magical! It’s defined as a thorough or dramatic change in form or appearance. Maybe not so magical sounding.

Now the description of human transformation…this is what I’m referring to as magical. Human transformation refers to the process of profound and often significant change that individuals undergo in various aspects of their lives. It can be driven by personal growth, life experiences, challenges, self-discovery, learning, and intentional efforts to improve oneself. It might involve breaking free from old patterns, adopting new perspectives, and embracing change as a means of personal development and fulfillment. This transformational journey can result in enhanced well-being, increased self-awareness, improved relationships, and a stronger sense of purpose. It’s really an internal shift that brings us in alignment with our highest potential.

This journey can be hard to do alone. That’s why I’m here (or any other certified coach who you feel connected to work with)! I actually offer a program called Long Lasting Transformation that can support you on this path. In this expansive program, you’ll experience your whole self in the cycle of transformation. We’ll dive in deeper to discover what’s important to you and what is your why. I believe the power of true authenticity is worth working on. It will show up and influence your personal growth, your relationships, your somatic well-being, and your work. You’ll learn to seek out more openings for vertical development opportunities on an ongoing basis. You’ll find yourself shedding the busyness that rules your days and craving the space and moments of deep stillness that are restorative for your whole being.

We’ll utilize an integral approach to coaching that works with the whole person: head, heart, and body. It all begins with taking a deeper look within yourself to understand your behavior and shift your perception. Integral coaching is a powerful methodology to expedite leadership and professional development. Why? Because it works at the level of the root cause. Coaching is not about providing expertise. My coaching is about developing human beings. It’s about helping you learn and grow. Curious to learn more? I’ll leave you with this excerpt from Mark Nepo’s book The Book of Awakening; Having the Life You Want by Being Present to the Life You Have. This book has been such an inspiration to me in my own journey of transformation and personal development. I love this one about how sometimes we don’t even realize our own transformation is happening even when we are in the thick of it. If you feel so inspired, take on the practice at the end. This is often an example of something I might give a client as a reflection to get acutely present to their own way of being:

The Taste of Sky

Of magic doors there is this,
you do not see them
even as you are passing through.

Often as we are being transformed, we cannot tell what is happening. For a while in the midst of staying afloat, it is next to impossible to see the ocean we are being carried into. While struggling with the pain of change, it is often impossible to see the new self we are becoming. While feeling our hand pried loose by experience, we seldom can imagine what will fill it once it is opened. As the days rinse our hearts, we can feel something unseeable scour us through, though we can't yet imagine how much fresher milk and sky and laughter will taste once we are returned to the feel of being new.

Sit quietly and bring to mind a struggle you are now experiencing in your life.

Breathe through the struggle and bless the buried part of you just waiting for its turn in the world.
