Burnout By The Numbers
Hi friends,
Are you feeling burned out? You’re not alone. A recent study showed that the pandemic has contributed to widespread burnout at rates we’ve never seen before (89%), resulting in many employees resigning from their jobs. Those left behind are feeling the pressure to work harder and faster to support their teams.
In fact, 70% of employees surveyed said they would leave their job for one offering resources to reduce burnout. So what needs to change? When employees feel supported by their organizations and leaders they are empowered to address workplace burnout. While expanded vacation time is a good start, creating a work environment that is supportive and flexible is key.
Employers who lead by example are able to get to the root causes of burnout and foster a culture of open communication. Unsure how to start? I can help. I work with individuals and organizations to achieve comprehensive solutions.
