5 Tips for Preventing Holiday Burnout

Hi friends,

If you're struggling to cope with stress and manage commitments during the holidays, know that you're not alone. Read on for my top tips for preventing holiday burnout while joyfully embracing the season.

5 Tips for Preventing Holiday Burnout

1. Get organized

A little advance planning can go a long way to help create calm amidst the holiday chaos.

2. Set boundaries

Learn how to say no! Don’t feel obligated to accept every invite. Only say yes to what will truly bring you joy! You know your limits, and you get to choose.

3. Ask for help

Lean on your support system when you’re feeling overwhelmed. An extra set of hands and a pair of fresh eyes can work wonders.

4. Take time to rest

Rest, relax, repeat! Carve out mindful moments to check in with yourself and ask, “How do I feel?” and “What do I need?”

5. Give yourself the gift of imperfection

Sometimes good is good enough, imperfection is healthy and normal. Setting the bar impossibly high will always end in stress and disappointment.
